Dinah Finkelstein MSW, RSW is a registered therapist with a Master of Social Work degree from the Wurzweiler School of Social Work at Yeshiva University in New York City. She graduated with a certificate in Child and Family Welfare. Dinah holds an Honours Bachelor Arts and Science degree from Queen’s University in Ontario.
Dinah’s professional experience includes working with children, adolescents and adults in acute medical settings such as Mississauga Hospital, The Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto and Wolfson Hospital in Israel. She has worked with clients who are living with brain injury, orthopaedic injuries and cancer, and the resulting emotional trauma. Dinah provides therapeutic interventions and crisis management to assist her clients to cope with injury, loss and grief, helping them to develop valuable tools and skills.
Dinah draws from a broad range of modalities including cognitive behavioural therapy, strengths-based approach and mindfulness in order to support her clients. Dinah strives to create an atmosphere for her clients that empowers them to achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.
